From the 30th of August till the 1st of September, 125,000 festival enthusiasts gathered at the Floriade terrain near Hoofddorp for Mysteryland 2024. During the 31st edition of the world’s longest-running music festival, attendees enjoyed performances from more than 300 artists, including Yellow Claw, Charlotte de Witte, Kriss Kross Amsterdam, and Outsiders.
Mysteryland entrusted Backbone with the technical design and production of two key areas: the ‘Mystery Box’ mainstage and the Pyramide Stage. In just 16 days, our team brought these areas to life, ready for visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Mysteryland. The main stage featured two gigantic hands holding up a mysterious “Mystery Box,” symbolizing the festival’s core values of peace, love, and mystery. When the box came to life, the audience could enjoy an explosion of energy and color through 3D video projections.
