What a ride it has been! In Nijmegen 3FM Serious Request 2023 raised €7.502.981,- (!!) for Stichting ALS Nederland. The success of this edition, with a packed Grote Markt each night touching stories that unfolded throughout the days, was thanks to the efforts of NPO 3FM DJs Barend van Deelen, Sophie Hijlkema, Wijnand Speelman, the crew, and the generous contributions from everyone who supported the cause.
At Backbone, we were in charge of this event’s technical design, technical production, the entire back office, and production management. Eleven colleagues worked on-site for almost three weeks to ensure everything went smoothly. We had an incredible time!
