Last weekend, all race-loving eyes were on the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix 2023 for the third year! The CM.com Circuit Zandvoort welcomed more than 100,000 visitors daily (with rain ponchos), and millions of viewers from around the world tuned in to follow every move. From Super Friday and Qualifying Saturday to Sunday Race Day, Max Verstappen came in first after much rain showers (what else would you expect in The Netherlands) and a red flag situation, Fernando Alonso second, and Pierre Gasly third.

Role of Backbone

We are proud to say that Backbone is again part of the technical- and overlay production team for the Dutch Grand Prix. After months of preparation, our team was on-site for a month to assist in setting up all needed temporary infrastructure. Backbone also assisted the technical- and overlay team with the technical design and the event’s technical production, including the arena and fan zone stages.
