About the European Para Championships

Emotions ran high, dedication soared, and passion lit up the skies in the inaugural European Para Championships. From the precision of para-archery to the speed of Para-cycling and the finesse of wheelchair tennis, these Championships encompassed it all! Para badminton, boccia, goalball, Para judo, shooting Para sport, Para taekwondo, and wheelchair basketball added their magic to this extraordinary mix. A ticket to the Paralympics was the golden prize, and you could practically feel the athletes’ fire burning! With 1,500 competitors giving their all, dedication reached high.

Role of Backbone

With a pre-production phase of 2.5 years of preparation, we were more than ready for this production. Backbone International handled technical production and technical design. For 17 dynamic locations in Rotterdam, our Backbone team worked tirelessly to ensure every moment shined.
