International hip-hop festival, Rolling Loud, came to Canada for the first time ever! From the 9th to the 11th of September Rolling Loud Toronto brought headline names such as Dave, Future, Lil Uzi Vert and Wizkid among many others to Ontario Place. Backbone was involved once again and held the responsibilities of Site Director Consultant and Festival Administration Consultant, and worked in close collaboration with the team of Rolling Loud as well as Live Nation.
Our team helped create the site map and advised how the Rolling Loud sites usually run. In addition, we stepped in to tighten fence lines, advised on-site asset moves and assisted with getting the right documents for all the artists and staff coming from the USA into Canada. On top of that, Backbone also coordinated flights, lodging, and ground transport for vendors and staff and ensured things would run smoothly between the Toronto and USA teams while working together. We were very excited we could dedicate to Canada’s first timer.
