Jun 2017 | Amsterdam | ALDA Events
The Flying Dutch 2017 is a multi-city electronic festival in Amsterdam, Eindhoven, and Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Renowned as the country’s biggest outdoor dance event, over 100,000 fans gather to witness some of the very best DJs in the world.
With the artists transferred between the cities via helicopter, the celebrations are a full-blown powerhouse of electronic sounds.
Previous artists include Afrojack, Tiësto, W&W, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, and Nicky Romero. But also Armin van Buuren, Firebeatz, Oliver Heldens, Showtek, Fedde Le Grand, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Yellow Claw, and more.
The Flying Dutch is a corporation between multiple entities, but ALDA Events manages the entire production. T.F.D hosts three massive stages in three different cities (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Eindhoven) with a 25,000 capacity. The Amsterdam production was hosted inside the stadium of the 1928 Olympics. Backbone acted as the technical producer for client ALDA Events.
Backbone assisted ALDA with the execution of the production in Amsterdam. Our technical producer from Backbone was there from the first moment until the last second to ensure the entire build went according to plan. Keeping a close eye on the load-in schedule, stage designs, and safety, the technical producer from Backbone was able to help out another happy customer.
